I need to step down 24-0-24V,3A transformer to 2 set of source of 0v and 17V, what are the values of the components i need. Thanks!

What do you mean "2 set of source of 0v and 17V"? AC or DC?

Thank you, I really need help 'coz we dont have much time. My group is currently working on a project which is a 7-segment common cathode digital clock(four separate digits). Our problem is, there's no available 17Vdc,3A power supply so we decided to make our own and use 24V-0V-24Vdc,3A transformer. The catch is,we dont know the componets to use and its values. What i mean with 2 sets of 17V and 0V is voltage supply for two digits in our clock using the transformer,as what our instructor says that we could supply it to two digits. Kindly help us, ' truly appreciate it!
