Help with Video screen

Alright. i've disassembled an old personal DVD player and i want to use the screen in a robot. i expect this to be difficult and will be writing all code/drivers myself but i still want to try. assistance in where to look for information on how to accomplish this would me much appreciated. thanks in advance.

It's likely that most of the 'screen' is on the mainboard, so you have to create all the electronics it requires as well.

You really need to find a full circuit for the complete unit.

i still have the complete unit i just wasn't sure if i needed all of it or how to implement it.

If the complete unit will accept and display an external video input, I should use that.
