I have a transformer from an old mac centris 610 power supply and one from an old alarm clock could i make a high enough voltage to be used as a simple ion motor. (Also i was wondering i have an old electric motor and i was thinking maybe i would use it instead of winding everything myself:p)

p.s. it is due TOMORROW!! :p i don't have to do it but i would like to then i could amaze my teacher and get a good grade

(my topic is ion propulsion i am doing astronomy in science class)

( the science room has a normal AC outlet and a 25V DC outlet)
