My cell had a caller ID of 000-000-0000
My cell bill showed that I called myself or Voicemail
How did they pull that off?
Global company. Call from official high up on the ladder.
I would think that CID, they could fake and the phone company would use ANI.
Something is really fishy. Any idea how they pulled it off?
Caller ID spoofing is easy. Calling so that your number shows up as "unknown" is easy.
Did my cell substitute "000-000-0000" for unknown? I could easily check the latter.
