How to Amplify 0.1V across an LED terminals to 3V ?

I made a circuit in which the LED terminals have a potential difference of 0.1V,So how can i amply this potential difference to 6V using an external power supply.

I was wondering if this would amply 0.1V or is it something else ? is this is not the answer then please help me.I have to do this somehow

Perhaps the LED is not lit.

If the LED turn off,it should no voltage drop across even o.1V at LED.So would you post your schematic here ?

My point was that perhaps the circuit is applying only 0.1V across the LED and thus the LED is off.

But yes, please post a schematic.

It's a pretty poor looking circuit anyway, and if it's going to work at all, then layout is going to be absolutely critical. I suspect he's probably built it on a breadboard, where it's never going to work.

There's only 0.1V across the LED, because it's not turned ON.
