I want to design a matrix keyboard of 4*4 in atmega16 microchip.
Who can give me some advice or some infor .The project includes 4*4 matrix keyboard and a LCM modole which has some menu.
Thanx!
Did you search the internet? The are plenty of them out there.
Use google and search for matrix keypad microcontroller. Add atmel if you are using that chip. The megas will all work about the same way for that purpose.
instead of doing a matrix, you can also use two cascaded encoders... it makes you use only 6 pins instead of 8.. and it's very easy in wiring and programming.
