I2c problem - rcen does not generate clock

I also added the following Step: Reading the Byte from the Slave.
As you can see, the Master Generates 8 pulses, but the SDA remains Zero during these 8 pulses, and it goes up only after the 8th pulse is over.

Hi Ian,

The value for sure is not Zero,

I wrote a cursor value - 0x15.
Then read Zero
Then wrote Text to the GLCD, and I saw it has an offset due to the 0x15 (by default it'd start at 0x00).

Yes,
I tried 0x8C for both Write and Read (instead of just for Write).
it didn't work.
I also tried 0x00 and 0x01 (global address) for READ command, but it didn't work also.
