i have an old laptop wich only has a few working components left on it.
one of wich being the the monitor and i was thinking of using it.
either as a regular monitor or for a future project.
in any case i was wondering if any one had any schematics for a driver for
the monitor or any thing similar
tnx.
i searched the net and found some adapters for $300
and also found one site that gave me the pin outs from the cable.
but i don't know how i would connect it to my pc.
and i found out that my display is a samsung tl133x3-124.
also i found a number of manufacturers sites that gave some info on the chips used in making the driver and the ic's used but not enough info for me to get a good idea on how to make one if anyone has any kind of info
on how to make an lcd dilplay work i would appreciate it.
My first post - and its helpful too!
LCD panels found in laptops nearly all use proprietry connections. There are kits out there that allow you to connect one up to a 'regular' PC , but they start at £600. The connector is called a DFP , digital flat panel.

Forget trying to find the schematics they won't be released to the public.
