Maing a BAT54S from 2 BAT54C's

Would this be possible ? I need a BAT54S but cant wait for it to come in. I have a ton of BAT54C tho. I have drawn a image.

As long as wire lengths aren't critical and you don't need thermal coupling, it should work OK.

It says on page 13 :

The rectifier diode (D1) should be a fast low
capacitance switching type with low reverse leakage at
the working voltage. It should also have a peak current
rating above the peak coil current and a continuous
current rating higher than the maximum output load
current. Small schottky diodes such as the BAT54 are
suitable for use with the ZXLB1600 and this diode will
give good all round performance over the output
voltage and current range.

I dont really see anything about that should be ok i assume... Ill try it and also make a PAD for the BAT54S so when it arrive i can simply cut 3 traces and use the single pad
