My lab partner and I have to build a multi-stage mosfet circuit to meet this given criteria:
Mid-band voltage gain > 35dB | Input Resistance > 10 Mohms
Output Resistance < 300Kohms | Output Signal Swing at least +/- 0.4 V
We have variable power supply voltage from -15V to +15V
We are using the ZVN3306A
I was thinking of making this configuration:
Common Source (no Rs) -> Common Source (no Rs) -> Common Drain
My question's are:
1.) Will the Common Drain be the best fit for the ouput resistance requirment?
2.) Should I include an Rs for one (or both) of the Common Source stages for a more stable circuit at the loss of some gain?
3.) Would seperating the stages with a capacitor (To make the DC calculations easier) be more detrimental to me than beneficial?
4.) Would you recommend a better configuration?
Thanks
