My brain hurts now...Need help with 12V Timer

Hi,
I stumbled accross this site while trying to figure out how to get a 10-15 second 12 volt timer to work, I am using a 555 timer. I found an article about the exact oposite of how I need mine to work....of course...

I need mine when switched on to pause 10-15 seconds then activate a buzzer...
could anybody help me?

You can do it with 2 555's or 1 556 timer. The first stage is the delay, the second is the buzzer on time.

Something like this. Replace the LED with the buzzer and it's driver.
