need to cross a SGS28544 to ECG

I have a transistor and I cannot find a cross for it.

SGS28544 TO220 case NPN

used in a coleman 5355-700 12volt lantern
it is used to switch the DC to higher voltage for the flourosent lamps.

Sorry, I didn't have any luck searching either. Have you contacted STMicro's tech support for help?

If it is a power NPN simply being used in a switching capacity, there are probably a large number of substitution possibilities.

From where are you getting the part number--the device itself or the Coleman parts list?
