One can see an IR LED using a digital camera if the duty cycle is aproaching DC. One cannot see the waveform of a switched IR LED using a digital camera. One has to set up a device that will detect the photons emmitted from the IR LED (a phototransistor), and convert this to a corresponding voltage that CAN be detectected by a device that reads time variing signals, such as a CRO. Show me a device that reads time varying IR light, and displays it on a screen?
