Bottom line first... I need a USB to serial converter for the TDS Nomad handheld computer running Microsoft Windows Mobile. The converters I have found all require an installation CD that has drivers for Windows ME/2000/XP/Vista but not for Windows Mobile.
I was thinking I could use a PIC with USB to make something. The serial parameters for BAUD, data bits, parity, etc. can be fixed so I won't need a setup routine.
What is involved in interfacing a PIC with USB to a Windows Mobile device?
