Hi Guys!
I need to program the PIC 16F876A through serial port. Here is my PIC16F876A programmer.

Please tell is this correct & what are the missing points.
Also do I need a resister in series with the RTS line?

That might work if your very lucky and you have a fairly old PC. There are much better alternatives. Have a read of this page. They suggest something like,

I remember that one, you shouldn't need the clamp diodes D3 thru D6 though.

For a one PIC your program is ok. It’s good that you add a series resistor in RTS line to make the CLOCK pin closer to 5V.
