My last two projects have been PIC32 usb scopes.
The first was 1 million samples per second using a PIC32MX.
The second was more of an undertaking using a PIC32MZ 64 pin TQFP smd package and 2 million samples per second.
The PIC32MZ a2d needed considerably more code than the mx version.
The biggest challenge was soldering the smd package of the PIC32MZ.
I used solder paste and a soldering iron to put down basic solder.
I then wicked off excess with copper braid.
I put the PIC32MZ on a daughter board so it was easier to work with but I then had to connect it to the motherboard with connectors.
