i hav bought a cheap rfid reader, with a baud rate of 19200
i need to test, whether it reads the data or not
its the frst time am using a reader and i hav no clue as to how i can test it

is there any simulator available that opens the serial port com1 and recieve data from it??

or can anyone help me with a Turbo C code??
am not so good with C :s though i knw it'll be a pretty small code as i only need to test whether it works properly or not

thanks

There are a number of free RS232 PC, utility programs on the web, I used ProComm.
