OK guys and gals (politically correct as the thread appears to be gender) --
Roboticmisinfo may have posted from the same ip as myself but as the network I use has tens of (maybe fifty?) computers all sharing the same server they all show the same proxy address. If I remember correctly roboticinfo also used a shared ip - I forget who else used the same ip - it isn't important.

I promise that we (Roboticmisinfo and mechie) are NOT the same person, he/she has their own opinions and ideas.
I like the detective work, I'm surprised it hasn't been spotted earlier but I will have to disappoint you all. Defective detective ?

Please remember that one of the things that makes this forum so lively is that we all have different viewpoints and we are all allowed to express them (within the bounds of a fairly tolerant moral code). One other forum I have used I had #all# my postings deleted and my account locked simply because I didn't agree (and still don't) with that site's admin/moderator - think about that. Contrast it with this site - I have differed with people here (including Roboticmisinfo) but we are still here and able to look back at what was said, nothing is hidden with the exception of a few postings that were deleted because they simply advertised porn sites or something similar - you probably remember one or two and there have only been a few.

I can't stand people who pretend they are cleverer and better than everyone else (roboticinfo). I was doing you a favour getting rid of him, as he NEVER posted anything useful - just a lot of cocky comments saying that people were stupid when they asked questions.... you can't learn if you don't ask questions... right? And there would be no point in the electro-tech forum if there were no questions or answers. I am now getting into electronics myself, so I'll be back (probably under a different name! haha)
