Schematic Question

Hi Guys,

I've been reading lots of schematics online and many times the caps are just marked like .01 or .1....is that assumed to be micro-farads?

Yes there in uF. Also there is some different code styles as well.like pF,nF etc...

For.01 it may written 103 code.
take the last digit and add 0's (if the last digit is 3 add three 0's) = 10000
so the value is 10000/1000000 = 0.01 uF
