scrolling led matrix

back to code in post #13. Found that it runs k if still connected to pickit2
disconnected and ran just on battery. It runs through the code once then starts freezing up and stops with some text on display.
brand new battery so it should run. if battery is issue would the display not go dim?
was trying to implement a mclre and maybe clean the data then restart code?? or reset the data to zero then reload data??

Well I was informed by Brad over at Brads Projects to add
CONFIG BOREN = OFF

well it looks like it worked.
now to do some research and find out what and why??

BOREN is brown-out reset enable. This will cause the proccessor to reset if the power supply voltage drops below acertain voltage. This would suggest there is a problem with the power supply to the chip.
