Simulating a sound.

OK, here's a sim of your circuit in LTspice. It creates siren.WAV in C:\program files\LTC\SWCADIII\WAV_files. You will probably have to create this folder before the sim will run.
Below is the schematic and 555 siren wav.asc, which will run in LTspice if you copy it into C:\program files\LTC\SWCADIII before you open LTspice.
It doesn't sound much like a siren, but you can probably modify the circuit to make it sound better.

Hi Ron,
I am glad that your schematic doesn't have Multisim measles dots all over it.

I have never heard a square-wave siren. i don't want to.
Oh yeah, RadioShack stores have an awful DING-DONG detector at the door that has a square-wave.

I don't do no frickin' Multisim.:D

TQ very much!
It put smile on my face when I hear the sound even tho I don't understand the circuit and have very little knowledge in electronics and don't know how to use Ltspice or multisim :(..

I waste 2 years studying electronics and another 1 year if I took diploma..

Arghh my life sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tq for reading..

In response to a PM question from Rumieus about the circuit I posted:
I actually don't know much about the WAV format, but I'm fairly certain that the signal amplitude in WAV files can be no more than ±1V, or clipping (distortion) will occur. R7, R8, R9, or C3 are in the circuit only to satisfy this requirement. Below is the circuit as it should actually be built.
