I have a snowblower with a Tecumseh engine. It has an alternator rated at 12.8V 2.10A. I want to install a 12Vdc drill motor and clutch to turn the discharge chute left & right.
The alternator is only powering a head light at the moment.

Could someone please help me with a rectifier circuit to drive the 12Vdc motor using the 12.8Vac alternator?

Thank YOU,
okoaomo

A full wave bridge rectifier will do it, or check the data sheet for one to see how to make it with diodes. A capacitor across the outputs will store some power and smooth it out.
