Sony 8 PAL CCD-F355E tapedeck won't close properly

The tapedeck of my Sony camera won't close properly anymore. It still closes but it doesn't really click into place 100% and sort of bounces back a little bit. The camera says on the screen that the deck is open so it won't record. I have already unscrewed it and tried tot fix it, but no succes. Is there any way to fix this or to bypass this problem?
