Speedometer converter

Dose anyone have plans for converter to convert a KPH Speedometer on a Japanese import to read MPH? Various places are charging between £40 & £70 for what I suspect is little more than a pic and a couple of resistors.

well, why don't you try a project with just a pic & a few resistors -you are probably correct - easy math conversion.
