Transconductance amp output...connect volt source?

Can you connect a volt source (eg output of an opamp buffer) directly to the output of a transconductance error amplifier?
You possibly could.
But why would you want to do that?
The opamp output would completely swamp the transconductance output.

Thanks, thats the idea.....before i connect the Boost FET, we want to see the gate drive is pulsing nicely, and not stuck high all the time, say, ....but then no power will pass to output, and VOA txconductnce error amp will rail high, and this might make the UCC28070A shut down, and then we wont be able to see any gate drive pulses...so we want to put about 2V into the txconductance error amp output, to fool the UCC28070A that its supplying load nicely.
