A true sine wave inverter does not have to be dificult, but some thing has to be right...
Schematics with gate drives of fets, with pull-up or down resistors does not work
If a high effective inverter has to be build, the gate drive of the fet's has to be fast, otherwise everything turns into heat, due to slow turn on and off the fets.
My sugesting to an effective inverter is:
make a high frequency stepup (push pull) converter through an ferrite core.
Thereafter on the high voltage rail, make a pwm sine wave output stage for the desired voltage and frequency.
