Hi,
Televisions that work fine, but are very slow to come on (warm up) are common problems with older TVs, is there a common solution or is it brand specific.

Thanks

Probably brand specific - or to be more accurate, model specific.

I can't say I've ever found this to be a common problem with TV's, and I've been repairing them for over 30 years.

I must concur with Nigel,
in five years I used a tube rejuvinator twice,
with dissapointing results on both occasions.

Tube boosters worked quite well on the old delta tubes, the more modern in-line tubes have never boosted well - I can't remember the last time I tried boosting a tube?.
