Types of sockets

Hi,

I've recently decided to purchase a CPLD and have been presented with a dizzying array of socket-type acronyms - PLCC, TSL, DIP, TOS, etc. I was wondering if anyone had a link to a website that had some pictures of these sockets, some of their characteristics, and perhaps common uses.
