Hello everyone,
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I have an AC signal generated by a piezo film (used as a vibrational sensor) and I need to process it to get a proportional DC signal. I've tried building a diode bridge and using a AC DC rectifier IC, but all I could achieve is cut the negative part of the piezo film AC output.
Since a picture says a thousand words, please take a look at the attached sketch of what exactly I would like to achieve, and see if you can give me some suggestions.
Thanks in advance,
-Igor
