thanks very much....is there some more....sometimes its very hard to find for the equivalent......bring much troublesm ...it might be usefull if can find few web site for the replacement....
Years ago there were books for transistor equivalents. Today there are web page. But all this is some ones idea of what a equivalent is.
I go to any good place that sales transistors. (digikey.com mouser.com etc)
They have a search engine for transistors. Most have a way to say I need a transistor like this:
Vco = 40 to 60V, Ic = 100 to 200mA, TO-92, 100 to 400mhz, NPN, gain 400 to 600,
And I got these numbers: BC547C, MPSA18, 2N5962, BC550C
Just a work of caution, many of the transistor equivalent documents and software packages have shortcomings and I am afraid to say that in many cases they have proved to be wrong.
As ronsimpson says in post #7 above, look on distributors website lists to see what transistor are actually available for purchase. But, in addition, it is essential to check the transistor data sheets to make sure the the replacement transistor is at least as good as or, hopefully, better than the original transistor.
Bear in mind that, although there are millions of different transistor type numbers, from hundreds of manufacturers, there only a few different types of transistor from a functional point of view. The only area which are liable to me critical are specialist areas, especially RF.
