Hi people, Im a musician, ignorant in electronics, so please excuse me.
I have been using a 12v adaptor on a 9v appliance.
Oops. The said appliance is a guitar effects pedal, it is a new one,
which I hav'nt used much.
It's still firing up, and working, though some of the features seem to be on the bung.
This may be, possibly, my own ineptitude using the pedal,or Ive fried it with
to much voltage.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers.Colefish
If it works at all, you may not have fried it, maybe it has an internal regulator. I would change back to the recommended adapter, making sure the polarity of the jack is correct and go through its functions to see if its fubar’ed.
