Hey,I want to know that whether we can used THYRISTOR in BACK_TO_BACK fashion for Switching the Inductive load like 3 Phase Motor for ON and OFF purpose without controlling the speed.

I have searched on NET for 3 phase solid state controller but did not got any article or product. So i am curious to know whether it is possible or not. and if not possible then why???

You can. You just use one pair of SCRs in each of the phases.

The easiest way to do this is to use three solid-state-relays, one for each phase.

Carl,

I think Using Single phase solid state contactor for each phase is not possible because if it so then it should be readily available in Market.

So problems still continue,,
