I need help ! I am new to PIC + dsPICS

I am working on controlling a dc(150V) motor with a dsPIC.
I am using an absolute encoder for my position input and wish to control the motor with PWM.
The encoder is a 12bit position grey input.

How is it that I can contol the motor with the absolute encoder's input to vary the duty cycle of the PWM.

It's a DC motor, it's high voltage (relative) so your best bet would probably be an H-bridge using IGBT's (Issolated gate bipolar transistor) basically it's a power transistor with a Mosfet driving stage built into a single package, they can often be driven from a micro controller connected to additional driving circutry that will fully turn on the FET stage.

So try Wikipedia first, and then start searching google for
H-bridge
and
IGBT
