The circuit you posted is a DC to DC converter. It is not doing a bi-directional anything and is just a rough circuit illustration. What exactly are you trying to do?

Basically, i am doing a bidirectional dc/ac converter..which can turn dc to ac or ac to dc in both direction... if i take out the 4 diode which is the recifier from the right hand side, will it turn out to be bidirectional?

I don't know i'm not a circuit specialist , but i think the (DC/AC or AC/DC ) is already exist and the electro map is available , and i will post it later for you .
Thanks
