Help with LM334Z

Hi again

After a closer look on the spec, it seems i got it wrong the first build.
I just tried with the reversed/correct pinout on a fresh LM334, but its still not working.

A dead short between the probes, shows 60mA on my DMM, the last build showed a 140mA

I've installed this LTSpice and replicated my circuit there,
and my simulation is nearly identical to yours.

Chris

hi,
The problem is I dont have a LM334 on the shelf so that I could actually build the circuit.

The LTS sim did show if the series diode was o/c then the current increased, check the diode.

You defined Rx where...?

I defined Rx the 'load' as a {Rx} variable in LTS...

I am testing a constant current circuit where I want to vary Rload.

Trying to define Rx as you did, I couldn't find where I have to.

How and where you did?. LTSpice seems very cryptic about it.

Is it a dot command also? If so, it is not in your screen dump.

Gracias Eric for your time.

Thanks Eric. I believed they were brackets, not culy braces. So simple, in front of me.

What a good thing to save time this directive!!

Gracias Eric.
