I've gotta say laptop.
But.. With an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse, and maybe some speakers.

I have an I7 thinkpad set up like that and it's the best of both worlds. Powerful, and portable when I unplug everything.
I even plug into an external HDD to back everything up.
