F frmdstryr New Member Jun 16, 2010 #1 I need to get a replacement fuse, but the dealer want's to charge $8 a piece, is this fuse Digi-Key - F2580CT-ND (Manufacturer - 045101.6MRL) a good replacement for this fuse **broken link removed**. It's for a printer mainboard. They're about the same size + or - .01" and both are rated for 1.6A. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

M mneary New Member Jun 16, 2010 #2 It looks equivalent to me. Must say, however: (1) Overheating it while soldering will damage it. Most components are very forgiving of overheating well beyond what the data sheet says. Fuses are ruthless. (2) If the original problem is still there, a new fuse will just blow again.
