I have a project on designing a motor control circuit using H- Bridge. the switching devices employed can be mosfets, bJT, thyristor or IGBT. can nyone run me through which 2 possibilities are the best. the motor used is a 12v brushed motor with 6.6ohms resistance and 0.445mH inductance. the back emf is 8.6v.
Check out this data sheet, especially the schematic at the bottom: https://www.electro-tech-online.com/custompdfs/2010/10/nano_microcontroller_driver_board_B0114.pdf
This product uses a 16F88 PIC processor to control either the ULN2803 Darlington array IC, the L293 half-bridge IC, or four 9Amp/24V FETs to drive DC motors. Read the specs, determine which part does the job best for your application, then copy it.
Have a nice project.
