Pic24f / Dspic30&33

Does anyone have any experience with these newer microprocessors, or any code I could bum to get me started with them? I am very familiar with the 16F series but not these newer ones. Thanks!

mikroElectronica have PIC Basic compilers for the 24F and dsPIC, but software from that company always seems quickly slapped together and very inefficient
