Stop giving her more airtime. The person most likely filled plastic bags with water and food coloring to create a meme photo and go viral. If it was real, she wouldn't have tried so hard to avoid anything outside of her trunk, like a gas pump, or the rest of her garage. She likely even worked for rt.com (Russian TV) because they were the first to pick up the story and used the photo to "help" it go viral. Then a bunch of idiots retweeted it. Then the government "had" to make a safety warning statement. Then most other media picked up the story that "the government issued a warning about gas in plastic bags" and they didn't show the staged photo.

lol =D so if something in US is looking dumb, Russia is most likely the reason?

No, not always. Only when the date/time stamp on RT.com's "articles" are the earliest or when the greatest number of tweets about the event link to their "article" on RT.com.

Also, people from Florida are quite successful at doing actual stupid things and not just simulated stupid things.

I agree, it sounds more exaggerated than true - although there are some seriously thick people about.

A fair few years ago a lady I knew worked at a petrol station, and there was a moron trying to fill his car, spilling fuel everywhere, while trying to light a cigarette and throwing matches in the puddles. She shouted to him over the PA to no effect, so she left the booth with a fire extinguisher and covered him (and his car) head to toe in foam

She was given an award by Texaco for it.

Ian from Forgotten Weapons (youtube channel) has one or two that seem to work fine as long as you don't crawl through mud with that open-sided magazine....
In other words, don't be on an actual battleground, in mud filled trench warfare, in WW1, with that POS.
  • In Episode 1: Machine Gun Educations, Gunny talks about the abysmal Chauchat man-portable machine gun. Gunny calls it a "Piece of crapé." When he shoots it, he worries it will blow up in his face, but instead it jams after four rounds.

The Lewis gun was so reliable that a variant of it was used by Imperial Stormtroopers long ago, in a galaxy far far away....

We had a customer, back in the early 70's, bring a Thorn 950 B&W set in for repair - the 'fault' was that he'd taken the back off and seen all these loose screws, so tightened them all up, and the set hadn't worked since.

Needless to say he's screwed all the IF cores down to the bottom, and the set needed completely realigning - so he got a nice big bill

Could that be the 21st Century evolution of the "Hobby Horse" ?
(Designed by a Darwin Awards competitor, at a guess!)
