Oznog Active Member Jun 11, 2006 #4 It is not possible with really "common" parts. There are capacitive charge pumps which can double the voltage at small currents, if you have one. Other than that you need a boost converter. Requires an inductor at least. You generally need a special purpose part to do the switching.
