Power problems

I recently got interested in ebikes/mopeds. after some searching I decided that until I learned more about the subject, I am not going to spend thousands up front. the lead acid batteries that came with it are junk. here is a solution that I think can work. The moped I bought is 36 volt 1000 watt motor with a 750 watt controller . three lead acid batteries. 12 volt 10 WH . I want get either a 36 volt generater or power supply. Also I thought about a power bank. I could get a emergency power bank like they use to start vehicle and strip it down of all the stuff I don"t need.....
All I really need is to be able to charge and store 36 volts ?? watts. Also and this is what I worry about getting right.. I need it to switch from batteries to alt. power source automatically so Can charge the batteries. just like a car...
I know this seems like a lot of problems and expense but it is worth it and as soon as I get it worked out and tested. I will move everything over to a adult trike.... that will be great to have one that is unlimited to miles...
So my questions are would it be better to use a power supply, 36 volt generator or to use a power bank.. something like this might help..
truecharge2 battery chargers...

I also thought about using a gasoline generator and inverter but I really don't want gas motor.. Any Ideals or advise?

A power bank is just more batteries, so using slightly larger batteries in the first place makes more sense.

A suitable power supply can be used for charging - but needs external power. (It's a battery charger, in other words).

A small generator is the only thing you could use to charge & run indefinitely, making it in to a hybrid.

You should not have to disconnect the batteries to recharge - the generator can charge while they are in use, as long as it provides more than the average load power and the batteries are properly monitored.

Lead acid batteries if any good are half the energy density of std Li Ion. Choices must factor capacity and cost with a budget for both and understand the tradeoffs with life expectancy.

Lithium batteries have higher power densities; however using and recharging them is far more complex that for lead-acid, due to the under- and over-voltage restrictions and cell balancing requirements.

Lead-acid only need a regulated voltage and current limit, for the simplest system.

I am going with agm batteries.. they charge faster than lead acid but not as fast as lithium.. I do get a little more juice. But I believe I can hook up a charger. Either a generator or alternator..

Life expectancy is not a issue right now.
Right now I just need a better power option.. they have charging systems on cars, motorcycle and mini bikes..
There should be a system I can set up or just mod for this..

Lithium ion would be better but I don't trust the info I am getting on them..
When I look online the batteries state that they can work on anything from 12 volt to 48 volt..

I would like to get away from using three batteries. I still think a power supply or generator. NPPT controller .
I need to triple the distance I can go without a charge... I can put 120 ac there but trying to get around that... I dc generator or alternator.. nppt controller and another electric motor... batteries..... can anyone think of anything else I will need....
