Yeah, be careful what you wish for. I have some pretty decent Infinity speakers bought around 1980, but when I bought my studio grade Sennheiser headphones they spoiled my ears for everything else. We really do get used to listening to a lot of distortion and resonances. When they go away it's kind of strange at first.Hearing the audio systems that we use every day at home maybe we get used to their "1% distortion
My brothers car use to have a bumper sticker that said:
Clean air smells funny.
When you first hear unadulterated sound, it sounds kind of funny too.
