question help

hi its practice question.the question is "what state this circuit will never go into?".the variable x is just a switch that when 0 makes the sequential circuit follow the upper state digram and when 1 the lower state digram.D flip flops are used

Since all states are shown for 3 bits, then I don't understand the question. Unless the question is what state(s) will the circuit never go into after it has operated through at least two states from a random start-up.
 
thats the problem.it looks like i just have to design the sequential circuit in accordance with this state diagram but the question "which states the circuit will never go into?" is not understandable:(...ok suppose if its what you are are saying then whats the answer for that?

In each case it would be all the states except the two with the loop.
