X xXAxHillbillyXx New Member Mar 20, 2010 #42 I have looked at some schematics, is it the capacitor that smoothes the ripple of the dc voltage out of the transformer to give more of a straight line (on an o-scope) and if so it would need to be the electrolytic capacitor
