Do you live in very close proximity to a Megawatt wfm transmitter? I'm located in Manchester, England near to a transmitter on 96.2Mhz FM that gives out a very high field strength. I use the field strength to trickle charge a battery while at home. Search for " field strength meter " and use this method. Free and easy. Hope this helps.

If harvesting a few microwatts from the near field of a megawatt transmitter is considered "energy transfer", then yes it can be done.

Most of us, however, simply call it wasteful.
