delay line memories and sram

i couldnt differentiate delay line memories and sram.Since both using flipflops.who they are differentiated whats the dis advantage in DL memories.Thank you in advance

i know something about it.DL memory is accessed only in sequential order that leads to more time consumption.But in sram data's are accessed in random fashion so its faster
do they have any other major differences

I think that's a big enough difference. Compare the Wikipedia articles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Static_random-access_memory

Also look at static vs dynamic ram.
