You should run the troubleshooting run and check whether you get the Vdd and Vpp as indicated therein. after that only it is better to program a chip.

Hi Sarma i got a BS250 and i do get 5v external voltage detected on Vdd. Vpp is fine. According to the data sheet BS250 is a DMOS P Channel FET. I can checkt its terminals using a multimeter and fix it correctly right? Its supposed to work since it is mentioned in the manual.?

Just look for the diode in the BS250.
