Making a sinusoidal power waveform from two halves?

Hi,
The attached shows two voltage sources. Between them they contain the full 50Hz sinusoid power waveform.
One contains the positive going half sines.
The other contains the negative going half sines.
Can you think of a better way than the attached to amlgamate them to give the full sine?
The attached is just Bi-Di switches going at 10ms period.

With two more power switches you could have just one source that creates both half sines.

Four switches would be like a bridge rectifier run in reverse.

How is your second (bottom) voltage source created? Making a half-wave without a connection to circuit ground and a perfect half wave is quite a feat from my point of view.
