TV Not Getting Signal

My RV has a VIZIO television. We can’t get a signal on it at the camp ground.

When it is turned on we see a station ID like – “KUHD –DT” cable. It then says “receiving data” then it says “no signal”.

We have used the TV before with both cable and with the antenna up to get local channels and did not have any problem.

A man from the camp office came in and looked at it wasn’t able to figure it out. We thought it might just be the cable connection at the post but we had to move our 5’er to another location in the camp ground this morning and we still have the same problem.

We have checked that all the cable connections are tight. Everything seems normal. And of course I left the owner manuals for it at home. Any hints would be appreciated.

How long has it been since you last viewed the set? You may need to run a channel-scan (This according to VIZIO FAQ).

Please follow these steps:
1. Using your VIZIO remote, make sure you have the "TV" input selected and press the input button.
2. Press the MENU button to bring up the TV's menu. Using the arrow keys (the keys that surround the "OK", "MENU" or logo button in the middle of your VIZIO remote) navigate until you find the "TV TUNER MENU".
3. Use the arrow keys to highlight the first option on this menu, called "Tuner Mode". Select cable (for any cable or coaxial connection) or antenna as appropriate. Once the option is highlighted, you can change it using the left and right arrows.
4. After you have confirmed that the Tuner Mode is set correctly, highlight the option labeled "Auto Search", press the right arrow and your TV will scan for all available channels. Let this finish to 100 percent. This will usually take 5-10 minutes.
5. Now you should be able to surf channels normally.

Other than that, I have no idea :(
